USA Science and Engineering Festival is this coming weekend

I have plenty of things to write about but I won't get to them for a few days.

I did, however, want to put out a reminder that the USA Science and Engineering Festival is this weekend at the D.C. Convention Center.

I am emceeing the main stage (designated Curie Stage on the festival map) on Saturday. I get to introduce people you have heard of.

I will also point you to Hall A, Booth 3557 at which my employer will answer the vital question, "Is the sky falling?"

I mentioned this already on facebook, but there are people here who aren't there. It's a volunteer gig. I had volunteered at the first festival and they sent out an email seeking emcees, with a form to fill out with one's qualifications.

The sky itself is not falling, but objects from space are falling and reentering the earth's atmosphere. Some of them make it to the ground and a few of those will be at the booth.
