So Typical
Jun. 26th, 2008 06:20 pmI had a conversation at work yesterday that explains a lot about why I get frustrated at times. Somebody noted that I hadn't mentioned the status of a troublesome component in my weekly report in a while and asked me about it. I explained to him that everything was going okay and updated him on the status.
After I finished, he asked me, "what does that component do, anyway?"
On the plus side, somebody who is usually evasive was helpful yesterday.
Today started out well. It only took me about 10 minutes to renew my building pass today. When I got to my office, I had a lovely surprise gift from a friend. (Beautiful yarn!)
But later on, I had to sit through a 5 hour teleconference. There was some good information, but I had to stand up and pace around my office to keep my body from merging with the chair.

People don't generally use agents if they rent apartments here, though they may if they want to rent houses.
