December 2022 Prompts - Part 2

1. What is your favorite kind of salad? I probably eat a simple green salad most often. But I often order beet salad at restaurants. I also love entree salads with seared ahi tuna. And I sometimes make Moroccan orange salad with rosewater and cinnamon.
2. Is there a certain person who constantly stresses you out? My brother.
3. Have you ever been in weather below 0 Fahrenheit/-17 Celsius? Several times. I believe the coldest I ever experienced was -28 degrees Fahrenheit (in Churchill, Manitoba).
4. What was the last thing you used your phone for, besides calling/texting? Duolingo.
5. Do the holidays affect your mood? It depends on which holidays. Jewish holidays affect me a lot more than stuff like Christmas.
6. Do you have a favorite gaming platform? I play a handful of video games and do so primarily on my iPhone.
7. Do you crack your knuckles a lot? I never crack my knuckles.
8. Would you go mountain climbing? Seeing as how I am terrified of heights, no way.
9. What's the last thing you destroyed? I probably wore out some article of clothing, if that counts.
10. Do you dislike any of your aunts or uncles? I have only one living aunts (who I like just fine) and no living uncles. But I never liked my great-aunt Frieda, mostly because as a child I sometimes had to share a bed with her and she kicked me.
11. What’s your favorite ocean animal? The leafy sea dragon is very cool, not that I’ve seen one anywhere other than the aquarium.
12. Do you ever get called a shorter version of your name? Definitely not.
13. What is your favorite thing to drink in the morning? Coffee.
14. What are three emotions you experience regularly? Frustration, amusement, satisfaction
15. When was the last time you did a DIY craft you saw online? I don’t know that I’ve ever done a crafts project because I saw something on-line, but I sometimes look up videos of some technique to refresh my memory. I do that pretty much every time I make hairpin lace because I don’t do it often enough to remember how to.
16. What is your favorite movie to watch during the holiday season? I don’t really watch holiday movies.
17. Do you like poetry? Yes. A few of my favorite poets include W.B. Yeats, Dylan Thomas, and Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
18. Do you have any experience with HTML? Yes, but just the basics circa 1998.
19. When is the last time you saw snow? Probably last winter.
20. Do you prefer fruity candy canes or peppermint flavored? Mint.
21. Why were you last at a stadium? I think it was August for the Lady Gaga concert.
22. Who was the last person you ignored? Sone sleazy scammer on Facebook, who I blocked.
23. Last video game you played? Probably Bejeweled Blitz.
24. What did you last leave a voicemail about? Probably confirming an appointment.
25. If you could move out of your home country permanently, would you? If so, where would you go? I would move to Israel.
26. What nicknames do you call your significant other? Nothing I’d admit to publicly.
27. How do you like your eggs? I like omelets with mushrooms and cheese.
28. Are there any mountains near you? There are hills.
29. What was the last thing that made you feel good? Getting a good night’s seep.
30. How do you tend to feel when the year is ending? I’m neutral towards the end of the secular year. For me, the logical start of the year is September because of the combination of the Jewish holidays, my birthday, and too many years in school.
31. What would you say is your biggest accomplishment from the past year? Starting to study Spanish with Duolingo.
