fauxkloreI accomplished a few things today. I sorted out some papers to shred. And I got the grocery shopping done. Now that Chanukah is over, Safeway had a big display with nicer candles, so I bought a box for next year. I finally scraped the wax drippings off the chanukiah and put it away, so I put the candles with it in the closet.
The evening featured the Better Said Than Done monthly story swap. I told my adaptation of Eric Kimmel's story about dreidels in Chelm. Jane had a new personal story about her daughter's wardrobe discovery. The highlights of the evening where a story from Charles about keeping a car in Manhattan and Silvana's story about a wrong turn in a recreation of Bethlehem. All in all, there was a nice mix of material and I enjoyed the swap.
