I am annoyed at all the news stories talking about shooting down the errant satellite. The satellite is coming down already. The mission should be called an "intercept" not a "shoot down."

In other news, I don't know why but I am fascinated by the story about scientists creating a blacker black, i.e. one that reflects less light. Apparently I am predictable in my tastes in news stories, since two people emailed this story to me, after I'd already read it in the Post.
