Back to Real Life
Dec. 6th, 2013 03:41 pmI am back at work, which is claimed to be more real life than travel is. I am not sure how catching up on email and trying to squeeze a briefing into a template designed for a slightly different purpose qualify as real life, but so be it.
Mostly, I have a massive to-do list. I have to go grocery shopping and cook for a party tomorrow night, but I am also tied up during the day. The weather forecast is pretty bad for Sunday, so I want the shopping to be reasonably comprehensive. I have to finish unpacking and do laundry and open mail and catch up on various journals and call my mother and achieve total world domination.
Niether jet lag nor the cold I acquired along the way (for which I blame hours on an airplane) will help.
