Holidailies Welcome
Nov. 30th, 2013 11:48 pmI am not entirely sure why I chose to do Holidailies this year. I've been crazy busy, so not spending much time writing here. And I am traveling a lot this month, which means the awkwardness of writing on my tablet.
In fact, I am in Turkey right now - and for the next few days. Why Turkey? Delta made me an airfare offer I couldn't refuse.
So far I have seen the major sites of Istanbul, then gone to Cappadocia (which was a life list item), and the Hittite site of Hattusa. The latter is a bit less mainstream, but there was a picture in a guidebook that intrigued me. And it was well worth the effort.
