We got 26 inches from the Friday-Saturday snow storm. Metro is still not running above ground, so it's a good thing the federal government is closed (and, hence, my company has authorized use of the emergency shutdown code). The prediction is for 10-20 inches tomorrow now, which would make it the third double digit storm of the winter - something which has, apparently, never happened here since they've been keeping records.

If I wanted to live in Greenland, I'd move to Greenland.

Well, no, but I do recall using E when we were closed for the riots and after 9/11.

No, no, the Rodney King riots. Driving from El Segundo back to my neighborhood (Pico-Robertson) was pretty scary that day.
