Good to Be Home

fauxkloreI got home at 1:30 a.m. and pretty much just fell into bed. My status with United did help, as I was able to get the earlier flight from LAX to IAD and not wait for the redeye (and I didn't even get stuck with a middle seat).
1) You have no idea how nice the sound of a toilet flushing is.
2) I love my mattress. And my rocking chair. And, especially, my shower.
3) You have no idea how nice it is to have clean fingernails.
I did not have off from work but made it through a few hours of a division all-hands meeting, another telecon, and deleting a bunch of email from my corporate account. Tomorrow will be serious catch-up day as I will be at my main office for the first time this year.
Have I mentioned how much I love my mattress? And how nice it is to have running water? And to have actual privacy?
Time to go hug the mattress again.
