This was the quote of the day in our Congressional report today. I have absolutely no idea what the context of it was, but it is nice to have a literate candidate for president.

NO WAY!!! Did he really say that?

Now that my partner is teaching me Russian it's funny to hear how "malenky", "droogs", "gulliver", etc. are supposed to be pronounced.

A little research reveals that it's a satire, apparently by a right wing blogger.

It's still pretty damn funny.

As someone who has studied Russian, my favorite nadsat word is "horror show."

Oh, well. It was clever.

"Good" was the first word I learned in Russian and I laughed. Now I alternate between pronouncing it "horror show" and "ex-oppa-whoa."
