Something Stupid

fauxkloreI ordered something for somebody on Amazon today. This is a fairly rare event for me, because I would rather patronize local stores, but I'd have had to special order it from the local place.
Anyway, I have his current address - in my email inbox and probably on a yellow sticky somewhere. The address I have in my planner, on the other hand, is a few years old. Guess which one I typed in on Amazon?
And I realized this after they changed the status to "shipping soon" so I have to wait for it to be returned to them as undeliverable because you can't change it then. Which is really annoying because it won't ship until tomorrow.
I may be dumb, but so is Amazon's customer service (or lack thereof).
