Clothing Traumas

fauxkloreI had to throw out an old long-sleeved t-shirt today. It had holes that were not in the seams and, seeing as it was 15 years old, it didn't seem to make any sense to try to devise some sort of patch. But, damn, this was a favorite, from doing the 3-day walk back in 1999.
My favorite pair of Keene sandals also fell apart today. I think those were only about 2 years old, which is about what their typical life-expectancy is.
Perhaps I should have spend knitting group working on actual clothing instead of the silly motifs I was playing with?
