Shameless Self-Promotion

I have plenty of things to write about, but I also have actual work to do. So, for the moment, let me just put in a plug for the storytelling program I am doing later this week.
It's free and part of the Fall for the Book Festival in Fairfax. It's Thursday night from 7-9 p.m. at The Auld Shebeen, 3971 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, VA, 22030.
The blurb reads:
Join members of the storytelling troupe Better Said Than Done—the “best performing arts company” by Virginia Living Magazine—for a night of “Reading, Writing, and Art: Stories about the Person, Process, and Performance of Art.” Hosted by founder Jessica Piscitelli Robinson, the evening’s entertainment features storytellers Richard Barr, Ann Cavazos Chen, David Supley Foxworth, Karen Lee, Pierce McManus, Miriam Nadel, and Ellouise Schoettler—promising true and unforgettable tales from each teller’s own experiences.
We had a rehearsal yesterday and I feel confident that this is going to be a brilliant and varied evening.
By the way, I am also part of another upcoming Better Said Than Done show, on the evening of September 27th in Reston. More details to follow.
