fauxkloreI got to Timbuktu yesterday. It is really quite something - looks like it is out of the Arabian nights. The downside is aggressive touts.
This is too slow a connection to say much, so consider this an "all is fine and I have not been attacked by a rabid camel" note. The Festival au Desert starts tomorrow. There will be a big camel race Saturday when the President of Mali will be attending.
