Mixed start to vacation
Feb. 20th, 2010 12:24 pmGood: got upgraded on flight from Washington to Seattle.
Bad: It was a 757 so it's not like first class on it is all that luxurious and I had a window seat. (I prefer aisles for long flights.)
Good: My luggage made it to Seattle.
Bad: My luggage did not come out at Vancouver. They were having trouble with the carousel jamming so it may be in the bowels of the baggage handling area there. Or it may have not gotten on the plane in Seattle. So much for United's priority tag making any difference. (This was an Air Canada Jazz flight.)
Good: I remembered to pack my alarm clock and a comb.
Bad: I forgot to pack my little pill box. Not that it really matters, but it's a minor annoyance to not have something to transfer morning vitamins to more conveniently.
Worse: Said vitamins are in the bag that Air Canada hasn't gotten to me yet.
Good: Very clear out today made for beautiful views flying from Seattle to Vancouver.
Bad: It will inevitably start raining at some point during this trip. And both my goretex boots and my sneakers are in the bag that Air Canada has yet to get to me.
