Insoxicated
Jun. 23rd, 2009 11:44 pmNo, that title is not a typo. It's how I feel after tonight's Red Sox vs. Nationals game.
Tonight's tickets were via the MIT Club of Washington. Interestingly, about a quarter of the people in the group were cheering for the Nats. The teams were fairly evenly matched during the early part of the game, but the Nats bullpen was not up to the job and things exploded in the last few innings. In the end, the Sox won 11-3.
I should also mention that the game set a new attendance record for the ballpark. Despite which, there were several empty seats in the section I was in. I've got another commitment tomorrow night, but I have tickets on Thursday, too.
Staying awake through an all day meeting tomorrow will be, um, challenging.
