More of Angkor
Dec. 27th, 2008 05:52 pmI had bought the 3 day pass for the Angkor temples and that proved to be about right. I did 4 1/2 today (1/2 because one site was a royal bath and takes about 10 minutes to see) and had pretty much had my fill by 2:20 this afternoon. There were lots of them I skipped, but it is better not to feel them completely running together. I should have skipped Pre Rup, since the point of it is the view from the top, but I was terrified and clung to the wall, so it isn't like I enjoyed the view.
Tomorrow''s plan is to do some shopping (craft workshop, old market), go to a spa for a bit, maybe go to the museum, and have a pricy tea at the Grand Hotel d'Angkor. I might also go to see some traditional dancing.
But, for now, a Tomb Raider cocktail is calling to me.
