Hotel Rules
Dec. 24th, 2008 12:05 amThe hotel in Phnom Penh had a list of rules, including one stating that it is forbidden to rent a room solely for the purpose of conducting a brothel. Suggested word for English class - "solely."
The guest house in Siem Reap is owned by an American. The hotel rules state that you are not allowed to have surface to air missiles in your room.
By the way, the bus ride was okay as 6 hour bus rides in the developing world go. Air conditioning was marginal, but road was decent and there were no live animals on the bus. The worst part was the whiny American law student sitting next to me.
I hope to find a better internet place tomorrow, when I expect to have something to write about.
