Kind of a washout

The river trip was fine. Belo sur Tsiribihina, however, may be the most depressing place on the planet. It took me two full days to find any info re: the festival and most of it is inaccessible; I will wait to explain more when I have access to a QWERTY keyboard, but the short version is that I was so frustrated I left 9 days early and am in Morondava trying to figure out what to do next aand am even thinking of cutting the trip short.
