I signed up for facebook. I am, apparently, not the last person in North America to do so as I could not find a few people I looked for (okay, one person from high school and I'm not sure I remember her married name and she's really not much of an internet user but still). I don't expect to use it much but I said that about here and ravelry and flyertalk, too.

This may have something to do with the cold I had been fighting off all week winning the battle today.

Facebook wants me to suggest which of my friends should be your friends. This is hard because I don't really know who you know in my region (or from other parts of my friendslist). I do see xiphias on your LJ friendslist, and he's on Facebook (as Ian Osmond).

I find that "suggest friends" feature really weird, personally.

For what it's worth, much of my LJ friends list consists of people I know from various places (both real life and on-line), but there were lots of folks added because they consistently had interesting things to say in other people's comments, so I find them worth reading.

I really have little idea what I will do with facebook, aside from procrastinating on housework :)

So rather than have me send suggestions through Facebook, you may want to just look over my friendslist and see if it contains anyone you recognize.
