Sep. 27th, 2022 10:35 pm1. Which city would you love to visit? There are lots of city I have never been to, so this is tough, but I think I would put Samarkand at the top of the list.
2. Are there some topics that you aren’t very open about? I don’t generally write publicly about my sexual preferences.
3. Do you ever read the last few pages of a book first? No.
4. How likely are you to swear at other drivers? More likely than I care to admit.
5. What food(s) have you eaten a lot of recently? Cereal
6. Have you ever been hypnotized? No
7. Have you ever been on a gondola lift? Yes. I think the first time was somewhere in New Hampshire as a child. I know there was one going up to the Great Wall of China, too.
8. Do you know anyone who’s been on TV? Well, I know myself. I’ve been on Jeopardy! and on another game show (The Challengers, hosted by Dick Clark).
9. Did you ever have any unreasonable teachers? I had a couple of college professors who didn’t have a good grasp of what concepts were hard for students to understand.
10. Do you have any lockets with pictures inside? I own a couple of lockets but never put pictures in them.
11. What is the most physically painful thing you’ve ever experienced? Breaking a rib.
12. What do you normally order on your pizza? Mushrooms and black olives.
13. Would you ever paint your house an unusual color? While I like the “painted ladies” of San Francisco, I think I’d prefer living in a house that was a fairly neutral color. I would consider some unusual trim, however. Maybe purple shutters, for example.
14. Are you drawn to a particular style of art? I tend to favor modern art, but I also love photorealism.
15. What is the cutest animal? Pandas.
16. What is your favorite breakfast food? Thin pancakes with lemon juice and sugar.
17. What do you do to relax? Read or listen to music.
18. Is there a new skill you want to learn? Playing the didgeridoo
19. What has been your favorite part of this calendar year so far? Probably my trip to Niagara Falls
