Chores

I spent pretty much all day baking cookies. Two batches each of pistachio white chocolate cookies and lemon-rosewater crinkles. Neither are particularly complicated. But I had to get out the spice mill to crush the pistachios for the former. I thought that involved the step stool, but, no, actually it was on a shelf I could reach without assistance. The recipe for the lemon-rosewater crinkles annoyed me because it says they take half an hour. The catch is that they didn’t include the two hours of refrigeration the dough needs to be firm enough to form into balls. But all is baked now and I think I will finish packaging in the morning.

I did get a couple of other things done, actually. Laundry, for example, but I still have to fold underwear and match socks. And I took the mailing boxes out of the trunk of the car.
