I Thought This Was Supposed to Be a Slow Week

Isn't everybody supposed to take off all week before Thanksgiving, making things nice and quiet? Instead, the people who I really absolutely urgently desperately need to talk to are gone and everybody else is keeping me hopping.

In between answering a reasonably interesting question from my grandboss and providing inputs to a particularly heinous project, I had my performance review. In short, I done good. Though I don't think I've ever seen the word "uncanny" in a performance appraisal before.
