I have a friend who claims to be the only Jewish feng shui expert in California.

Yesterday's Washington Post had an article about housing developers having to adapt to vastu shastra, which is (so far as I could tell) the Hindu equivalent of feng shui. I'm predicting this will be the next trend for the general public. Well, except for the part which calls for a prayer room.

And all I wanted in my condo was for the rooms to be rectangular.

Bill Strauss, who founded The Capitol Steps died Tuesday. Oddly, I've never been to their show, though I've listened to them on NPR over the years. I tried to talk Robert into going once, but he isn't very big on political satire.

Interestingly, Strauss also founded the Cappies, a critics and awards program for high school theatre.
