Yes. It ranges from mildly outrageous to extortionate. I think it is normally something like 10 bucks at rush hour, but I really never drive on 66 at rush hour inside the beltway so I don't know. It is supposed to keep traffic moving at a fixed speed, maybe 50 mph? But it is dynamic, so you don't really know what you'll pay when you get on.

There is also a transponder switch so carpoolers don't pay the toll. Right now, that only takes 2 people, but they plan to raise it to 3. They've had this system on I-85 for a while. Hence, the existence of what are locally called slug lines, a sort of informal carpooling system, where people gather to get rides or riders at various park and ride lots.
