This is probably a matter of performances, rather than inherent virtue. I loved Urinetown, but I am a huge fan of John Cullum.

And I have had issues with the quality of shows at 1st Stage before. There are other amateur companies in the area that I think are much better (though I hear the Eldon Street Players, which was the best of them, may have folded).
