Not a Caravan of Despair
I am back in Istanbul, but the WiFi is only marginally better than in Ankara.
When I think of caravans, I think of camels. It used to be gypsies, but then I went to Mali and saw all the camels in the world at once.
Anyway, the bus company I used for today's trip was KamilKoc. There's a line under the c, which I think makes it a "ch" sound. So I rode a camel coach.
The entry title refers to a poem by Rumi. That makes it appropriate that I went to see the whirling dervishes after my camel deposited me back here.
Let's see if the yarn bazaar (part of the plan for tomorrow) has any camel wool.
