This would have worked better for me if it were more fully staged, with costumes and swords.

I agree. I actually was surprised that they didn't have costumes, and even at least one of the actors was too. He arrived thinking there would be costumes.

While sitting on the step on the side during Much Ado About Nothing, I was looking over the audience wondering which one you were :-)
