For better or worse, most of the theatre in this area is in small theatres. Even Signature, which won the regional Tony a couple of years ago, is still a relatively small venue.

The Fringe Festival is always a great way of discovering artists and companies of interest. The challenge is choosing among 130 or so performances to find the ones I'm most likely to enjoy. I can't really wait for the handful of fringe reviews because my time is limited and the few performances left for any given show may not work with my schedule.
