I watched the US-British match on Sunday, and then watched a recorded US-Canada match last night. I finally broke down and looked it up on Wikipedia. Now it makes much more sense. :-) Also, the terminology (hammer, button, weight, burning, shot rock, draw, etc) used by the announcers was easier to understand, hence the strategy.
My family thinks it is about as exciting as watching paint dry, but I'm intrigued. Interesting game.
Then again, a Boston Globe reporter gave curling a tryout at a local club, and admitted that those at the Olympics, really the best in the world, make it look so easy, when it's not.
